The contention still stands that some actions are purely selfless and this holds true within my magic shop as well. There are people in this world that will go entirely out of their way to help another human being in need. They do so without the expectation of reciprocation or feeling good about themselves. It is this absence of expectation that truly makes such an instance altruistic. An action is selfless if expectations of retribution are not present and the person executing this selfless act truly has the desire to help within their heart and soul.
