Some Information About Artist David Shepherd

British artist David Shepherd paints landscapes, animals and steam trains. He is a big steam train enthusiast but is best known for his conservation work. David Shepherd became aware of the plight of animals in Africa when he came across some dying Zebra’s in Kenya. This motivated him to paint animals in their natural glory and to sell his work to help them. He eventually started up the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation and has been awarded an OBE for services to the conservation of animals. David Shepherd doesn’t just paint the sort of wildlife you see on safari he also paints pictures of mice and other sorts of common animals you would see day to day.
