Mechanic by Day - Scientist by Night?

I always tease my husband that he missed his calling in life. He is an excellent mechanic who has always been obsessed with science.
Most husbands on our block have workbenches and garages, and so does he. But he also has a sort of mini-lab, where he works on things such as his electric car conversion.
He has decided that electric cars are the future and he bought the materials to convert an older car into an energy-saving electric car.
Each evening, after a long day of working with grease and oil, he spends hours working on this project. Not only does he love doing it, but he believes that electric cars will solve a lot of problems.
I’m just glad that my mechanic/scientist is happy.
