Reminders to Prepare for the Escrow Closing Date

Many of the delays (and hence, frustration) that come about in the escrow closing process are directly due to small mistakes that could be avoided with a bit or preparation and organization. As your escrow closing date approaches, the number one thing to do is to be prepared, as simple as it may sound. By promptly returning phone calls and messages and providing all pertinent information, you can avoid simple delays. Also, be ready for meetings by being there on time and with all necessary items, as many escrow officers are very busy and do not have time to extend or reschedule meetings.
