Starting Over With an Entry Level Job
February 28th, 2009 by admin
When my company downsized, I found myself searching for a job after twenty years in management. I went searching for a new executive job, but none were to be found.
One day, as I was researching, several interesting entry level jobs caught my eye. I began to think about how nice it would be to work in a stress-free environment, doing something I loved for a change, and decided to go for it.
It was easy to get my job working in an craft store, and I’m having a lot of fun. I’m surrounded by cheerful people, colorful and elegant materials, and we hold classes for the public. The pay is less, but I’ve learned to enjoy the simple things, and it’s well worth it just to enjoy going to work, for the first time in my life.
