Storage changes
August 23rd, 2008 by admin
I can still remember when we ran our business on internal memos and external correspondence. Each client had their own file folder and everything went in there in chronological order. A few of the folders would bulge but all fit in the file cabinet. Today it is all done electronically and we seem to generate in days what took years in the past. E-mail alone if printed and filed would require warehouses to store. As it is, it requires it’s own storage devices and own system of e-mail archiving. I no longer can call my secretary to get me the Jones file, I have to call the IT Department to retrieve it.
