The Coffee Shop

So, I recently moved into the Santa Clarita area and went looking for a part time job. I just needed some extra cash to use on my art supplies. So, I went to one of the local coffee shops and asked for a job application. The kid behind the counter just looked at my like I was crazy and then started quoting impressionist poetry. Something about losing his soul and filling a bowl with addictive caffeine that kills all his dreams. Yeah. Let’s just say that I stopped looking for Santa Clarita employment. You know, at least until I find an agency to help me.
