The Definition of the Word Military

The word “military” refers to the entire armed forces of a particular country. It originates from the Latin word “militaris” which means a soldier - someone with first hand skills and knowledge in arms and participated in military troop or war.
There are actually two terminologies related with the activities of the military - military strategy and military tactic. These two activities are often co-related to each other that causes misapprehension to other people. A military strategy concerns to the decision of what to attack and usually long term. On the other hand, the military tactic applies to the methods on how to attack and normally short-term and concentrated in a certain task.
