Burnt hand at the bakery

I work at a bakery as a cook. Few days back I was working at the bakery when I burnt my hand while taking out a tray from the oven. Though I was wearing a heat proof glove but still my hand was burnt severely. Later I found that that the glove was not standard and was made up of low quality material. Now I am confused when it came to the compensation thing. I am not sure that whom I shall claim, the bakery owner for buying the low quality glove or the glove maker.
