How many people have acid reflux?

I wonder how many people world wide have acid reflux. I am guessing it is a big problem in the western world where people have more than enough to eat and more often than not eat way too much. In the rest of the world where they are always wondering where there next meal is coming from it is probably not too much of a problem. Also throughout history, most people have not had enough to eat, so it probably the least of their worries. Now if you are fortunate enough to live in the civilized world you probably have searched for natural acid reflux remedies That is what I am doing because I don’t want to take prescription drugs.
