Side Effects Include Cocaine Brain Damage
January 17th, 2012 by admin
When trying to withdraw oneself from cocaine addiction, there are a variety of side effects which may present themselves. The user may experience unpleasant dreams, insomnia, increased appetite, and cocaine brain damage. Though it is always recommended that cocaine usage be stopped immediately, as these withdrawal side effects pale in comparison to the cocaine brain damage the user can potentially inflict upon themselves with further cocaine dependency. There are also a number of physical side effects that one can expect to experience with cocaine usage. One might experience severe lung trauma from smoking cocaine, or tooth decay and loss of enamel. By snorting cocaine, one can expect to eventually do permanent damage to their nasal passage and can degrade the nasal cartilage. Of course, there is always a chance of overdose when using cocaine, thereby leading to the possibility of coma or death.
