Saying “I Do” to Health Insurance 2

May 9th, 2008 by admin

More and more people are saying "I do" to health insurance now than ever before. I know what you are thinking- ‘what a horrible reason to want to get married!’ However, the rising costs of health care as well as the rising costs of gas prices as well as the rising costs of food- not to mention the fact that banks aren’t as willing to loan people money is putting everyone in arms about, well…everything.  At the top of everyones list, however, is health insurance costs.  It would seem that if you were to get married, the cost of health care would be much cheaper than if you were to remain single and have to be responsible for paying for it yourself.  This doesn’t justify the fact that people are getting married; it simply demonstrates how marriage has, perhaps, changed over the years.  Sure, there might still be some of us out there who are willing to marry for love, but there are also some of us who are willing to marry for the insurance.
