Preventing a Residential Fire

Homeowners frequently spend a lot of time and money making sure that their home is fully protected from the predators and criminals of the outside world. One internal predator that you may not be considering, however, is fire.
Many people don’t consider the likelyhood of losing their home and posessions to a fire as a high priority. This is a costly mistake. Be sure to have some manner of fire protection installed in your home. For those of you who have a modern home security system chances are that you already have this feature. Also install fire extinguishers at readily accessible locations throughout your home. A basic dry powder fire extinguisher will more than likely prove sufficient.
