Amount of Illumination for Tiffany Lamps

One should have at least basic knowledge on light bulbs of chandeliers and Tiffany lamps when in the process of redesigning the dinning area or living room. One should know what type of chandelier or Tiffany lamp to put there. Chandeliers and Tiffany lamps can have multiple bulbs and tend to shed a lot of light. The amount of illumination that you will need for the dining room will be based upon this formula: Length X Width X 1.5. If a room is 12 X 15, then you will need roughly bulbs that produce a combined total of 270 watts. A chandelier with 6-40 Watt bulbs will most likely provide adequate illumination, especially if complemented by wall sconces, buffet lamps, or other light fixtures. The diameter of chandeliers should be approximately equal to ½ the width of the dining room table and mounted close to 27-30 inches above the table.
