Design check art

I have been going to school for quite some time for art, and now I am graduated and I am trying to figure out what I am going to do with my degree. I want to make sure I get a job in the art field somehow, even if I have to work really hard. I just came across an ad to design checks for a check company. It will be designing things like wolf design checks, or checks with birds or flowers on them. It may not be my dream job to start out, but at least it is a job, and it is art.
