Hobbes Stuffed Animal: Real or Not?
September 30th, 2008 by admin
One of the most popular comic strips in recent years was “Calvin and Hobbes”. It was drawn with such detail, dry humor, and intelligence that it became an instant classic.
Hobbes, who is Calvin’s stuffed tiger and best friend, became a popular favorite because he was not only very cute, but funny and smart.
Naturally, a lot of people wanted to find out where they could get Hobbes stuffed animals, but no authorized Hobbes were ever made. Hobbes’ creator, Bill Watterson refused to approve them.
While there are unauthorized Hobbes’ out there, it is not possible to get the real thing. So like me, many people have had to settle for enjoying Hobbes just the way his creator intended – in pen and ink.
