Closing the Door Closer

I can’t normally find joy in watching television. In fact, a great number of the shows available today depict silliness to the utmost level. I hate it to the bottom of my gut. Subsequently, many of the shows border to being absurd and bizarre. There is not much joy watching them, but instead are excruciating to ogle at.I could only feel nostalgic of the days when the shows were substantive and compelling such as “The West Wing” and “Hill Street Blues”. It seems today that the door closer has been shut for quality entertainment. The television entertainment is now dominated by reality shows that are neither real nor substantive. I just wish that the TV executives would find a way to fix the prevailing situation.
