how dogs react to storms

Dogs have much better hearing than human beings do. Their hearing is so sensitive that a thunder storm can feel like world war two to a dog! If your house or area has alot of metal roofing and their under it the storm can feel like shelling during a war. They will hide under something and cover their ears because it can be very frightening to a dog. If you think it’s loud to us just think how much louder it is to a dog when that thunder bumps and the crackling of the super close thunder strikes happen. Dogs are intelligent creatures but it doesn’t change how dogs react to storms.
