Let Group Members Do The Talking During Brainstorming Sessions.

Brainstorming sessions are usually headed up by a person who states the idea or problem to be considered during the session and often they are the ones to keep participants in check when brainstorming techniques fail. What the leader needs to remember is that everyone should be participating during a brainstorming session and the leader should generally only speak if the session seems to have stalled or if the task has been lost. (i.e. a session about global warming turns into a conversation about hair dryers). Group participation is essential to these sessions and its the group leaders responsibility to ensure that it happens.
