OWNER WHO FELL RESCUED BY DOG
February 6th, 2012 by admin
In an amazing story that shows just how smart dogs really are, a man in Cornwall, England was walking around near his home when he felt the ground under him disappear and it is fortunate that his dog was nearby and knew what to do. Apparently, the man fell over forty feet into a ravine and was knocked unconscious when he hit the bottom. When he woke up, the dog was sitting at his side. After seeing that his owner was okay, the dog raced away and went to the local pub in order to sound the alarm that something was wrong.
Amazingly, the dog was able to make sure that his owner got help and was taken to the local hospital where he ended up being treated for an injury to the head and at least six broken ribs. The dog was one of the very popular Australian Labradoodles that have been seeing a lot of attention from dog fans who want fun family pets who are also intelligent. The man says that his pet was the perfect dog and that he couldn’t have asked for a better best friend than his Labradoodle.
The man who fell was in his seventies and although he was in good shape, he wasn’t expecting to fall into a ravine that day. He says he is just thankful that he was able to ensure that his dog knew what to do and that the people at the pub with the dog went realized that something was wrong when the dog came into the pub to warn them that something had happened.
