What Federal Tax Credits Are You Eligible For?

There are many federal tax credits so it is perfectly legitimate to ask what tax credits you are eligible for so that you can file your tax return properly. Most people can claim one or two tax credits but there are people who can claim more based on their situation.
If you have dependents, you are likely to have more tax credits to claim. If you have educational expenses, you may be able to claim more also. If you do claim tax credits, make sure you do it properly.
Before claiming any tax credits, consult the appropriate IRS booklets about tax credits and how you can claim them.
