Where can I learn more about house rental in Costa Rica?

My girlfriends and I are planning a vacation together so we can catch up on all the latest news and have some girl time. We are leaving the husbands and the kids behind to fend for themselves so we can relax a bit and enjoy ourselves. Where can I find out more about house rental in Costa Rica? We are thinking that we might want to get a house for the week so that we will have a bit more privacy and a bit more space for ourselves. We can spend the days sightseeing and hanging around at the beach, and the evenings relaxing back at the house.
